Environmental Education in Wisconsin

The Wisconsin No Child Left Inside (NCLI) Coalition is working to develop an Environmental Literacy Plan for Wisconsin that addresses the environmental education needs of Wisconsin’s pre-K-12 grade schools and pays special attention to creating more opportunities to get kids outside. Join now and help to ensure all people in Wisconsin graduate from high school environmentally literate. Be a part of the planning process and making Wisconsin’s Plan a reality.

Each year there are special days set aside for Environmental Education. We all know Earth Day is in April, but when is America Recycles Day, Arbor Day, National Wildlife Week, and American Wetlands Month?
