LEAF - Wisconsin's K-12 Forestry Education Program


LEAF connects formal and nonformal educators in Wisconsin with high quality foresty education resources and services. LEAF envisions inspired and informed citizens actively engaged in sustaining healthy forests and communities. LEAF's mission is to advance excellence in K-12 forestry education through partnerships that develop, disseminate, implement and evaluate relevant resources and services.

LEAF offers vision-driven K-12 curriculum and online resources, professional development courses, support for integrating forestry education into existing curriculum, workshops for formal and nonformal educators, school forest program consultation and more!

News & Information

Applications are now being accepted for the 2010 School Forest Awards. These awards recognize individuals and organizations that have provided leadership for local school forests. LEAF (the Wisconsin K-12 Forestry Education Program) will recognize individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to school forest programs. All nominations are due by September 17, 2010.
