Environmental Education in Wisconsin
Green Edventures

Green Edventures is an eco-travel educational program that introduce teens to some of the last wild habitats and indigenous cultures on earth.

Our curriculum is divided into four areas:
  • Natural History: Participants will identify plants and animals and learn about their physical and behavioral adaptations.
  • Land Ethic: Participants will begin to understand their place in the ecological community, the implications of the current land ethic as it relates to their culture, and compare it to the values and beliefs of cultures indigenous to the region.
  • Action: Participants will learn how their lifestyles affect local and global ecosystems, and what they can do to make a positive difference for the environment.
  • Love: We hope that you will fall in love with the habitats you explore on your adventures, so that you will use what you have learned to protect them long after your trip is over.
