Green & Healthy Schools Wisconsin provides recognition for PK-12* public and private schools working to reduce environmental impact and costs, improve health and wellness, and increase environmental and sustainability literacy through a self-paced, voluntary, web-based application.

*Public school 4K or 5K programs in community locations are eligible for recognition through Green & Healthy Schools Wisconsin, even if they serve a wider age range.

That is the design of High Marq Environmental Charter School in Montello, WI. The school serves 32 students grades 7-12. Community involvement is core to the learning experience.
